if you’re looking for a place to go on a vacation this summer, but would want to avoid the huge crowd bathing under the sun, i highly recommend the beaches in Pangasinan. . one of my ever favorite is the Patar Beach in the town of Bolinao.
after approximately 4 hours travel from Manila via commute route, without any reservations, we scouted for a cheap accommodation. we hired a tricycle to bring us to Patar and luckily we spotted a nice nipa hut for just 1000php per night. . not bad!
what i really admire in Patar beach is the sugar-like fine white sands and crystal clear water. the view of the sky and the South China sea is just breathtaking. . ❤ ❤ ❤
we also had a chance to visit other tourist spots in Bolinao such as the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse and the Enchanted Cave. here are some of the sneak peaks of the hidden gem in Pangasinan.
Patar Beach at its finest. . wink wink!
Pangasinenses should be very proud of their oh so clear waters. . love love love. .
fell in love with the sands. . beautiful!
it’s just sad i cannot go upstairs. . it’s closed. . hehe. .
though i’m not into caving, i still find the enchanted cave so amazing. . i enjoyed the cold water of th underground spring. . just be careful when you swim as the rocks including the floor under the water are quite sharp.
the sunset is so stunning. . it really blew me away. . lovely!
kudos to the photographer. . he deserves a “thank you” for joining this trip. .
truly Bolinao is a hidden paradise. visit the place and be stunned. . enjoy the summer. . sand, sun and the salt water. . mwah mwah!
