Nostalgia – Coming Back to my Home Town and Enchanted Kingdom – Laguna, Philippines

My most favourite place on earth during my early youthful innocent years, Enchanted Kingdom, the theme park in the town I used to live in, has been one of my most joyful day-long refuges where I balanced my teenage negative outbursts and acquiescence, tried to forget a superficial young romantic love that failed, and developed a gradual but deep-rooting friendship with the people now I call sisters from another mother. Surely it is not as expansive as the other popular theme parks almost everyone used to dream of visiting, and overtime it has become less vibrant and less enthusiastic than it used to be when I was 12, 13, or 14 years old, but it is still one of the spots in Santa Rosa, Laguna, I will never get tired of visiting. As what the theme park’s marketing slogan says, “the magic is here” and indeed “the magic stays with you.”

Family, sunset, thrills and shrieks, here are a few photos of my afternoon ride at Enchanted Kingdom. My mom and dad were children again. The sound of their laughters and the smiles on their faces are just priceless.
