During my vacation in Vegas, I took the opportunity to do a side trip to Grand Canyon before I flew to the east side of US. I took a package that includes a bus ride from Vegas to Grand Canyon West Rim, a quick stop at the Hoover Dam, plus the Skywalk experience. Since my aunts and uncle were needed at work on that day, unfortunately, they weren’t able to join me so they didn’t witness how I got my wide happy eyes as soon as I stepped out of the tour bus. I’ve gotten high by this amazing postcardesque sight of reddish and brownish earth colors of high cliff walls sculptured naturally by rains and winds, and the overwhelming broadness of Grand Canyon. I was so astonished and speechless, I prepared my camera that served as my companion during the trip and took pictures non-stop. It was so beautiful, I imagined the view with rainbows or colorful sky of sunset or bright refreshing sunrise. I wished I was able to stay longer. If given the chance to come back, visiting the other rims (South and/or North) would be very lovely. I wished I can afford the helicopter ride too and be amazed by the beauty of the canyon’s top view.
